Hampton-in-Arden Parish Council has agreed to a request from Catherine-de-Barnes Residents Association to consider incorporating the unparished area of Catherine-de-Barnes into the Hampton Parish. The formal process to do this is now underway with Solihull MBC.

Caroline Spelman is sponsoring a Parliamentary Petition to reject the Motorway Service Area application as it is unsustainable, is a threat to road safety and because there have been significant transport and infrastructure changes since the original application.
